Chris is a leading UK expert in low carbon vehicle technology and its real-world application. An experienced automotive engineer with a strong technical background, Chris also has a strategic understanding of sustainability gained through qualifications in Sustainability Leadership and Sustainable Business and nearly two decades of professional experience.
Starting his career with an engineering apprenticeship at Oxford Instruments, Chris has completed undergraduate and postgraduate studies at Sussex and Cambridge Universities. He has spent 17 years working to overcome mobility challenges, including powertrain design and analysis at Ricardo and international legislation development with the SMMT.
At Cenex, Chris is Head of Technical Support and Consultancy, a function that provides a sound technical foundation to Cenex’s programmes, delivers low carbon technology trials, research and development, and provides in depth consultancy support to a wide client base from the public and private sectors.
