Omar Mustufvi earned a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Imperial College London. He joined Jaguar Land Rover in 2011 working in the Hybrids and Electrification research team. He has experience of systems design, and through working on a number of demonstrator vehicle projects (Range_e, XJ_e, Evoque_e) he has supported the attribute development process of hybrid & electric vehicles. He also has experience working with CAE toolsets and vehicle controls from developing algorithms for optimisation of hybrid vehicle controllers. In his current role, Omar is leading projects looking at post 2025 vehicle concepts, responsible for defining the vehicle attributes and technology requirements.
