The Knowledge Transfer Network

Materials Innovation Showcase

Innovations in materials are crucial to meeting the demands of the low carbon vehicle industry, such as producing lighter vehicles, improving recyclability, increasing energy storage and maximising the efficiency of critical components.

The Knowledge Transfer Network’s (KTN)Materials Innovation Showcase aims to raise the awareness of grass roots innovation and potentially game-changing technologies being pioneered by UK-based SMEs and micro-enterprises.

KTN is also hosting a set of talks on day one of LCV 2016, during which Materials Innovation Showcase exhibitors will explain the potential of their technology.

“As the UK’s innovation network, KTN is very pleased to be hosting another showcase at Cenex-LCV2016 — and I invite any company attending to come to our showcase to witness how innovations in advanced materials can bring vast benefits and have many applications.”

KTN’s Head of Materials and Nanotechnology Robert Quarshie
