Elizabeth is Environmental Sustainability Project Officer for Oxford City Council, focussing on partnership projects in air quality and the delivering the council’s Low Emission Strategy.
Elizabeth is project managing the Go Ultra Low Oxford On-Street Charging Project for Oxford City Council, and has been involved in the project since leading the development of the winning bid in partnership with Oxfordshire County Council and the University of Oxford.
A member of the IES, Elizabeth is a passionate and committed environmentalist with 7 years professional experience in a broad range of environmental fields including wildlife conservation, waste management, air quality management and sustainable mobility. Elizabeth has a broad background in delivering projects in environmental sustainability, ranging from increasing recycling in flats to sustainable mobility initiatives and engagement with Ultra Low Emission Vehicles.
Elizabeth’s recent successes include developing a winning bid for the OLEV funded ULEV Taxi scheme feasibility study for Oxford, and promoting ULEVs via the ‘Test Drive the Future’ ULEV experience event. A recent scholarship for the University of Oxford’s Global Challenges in Transport Leadership Programme has given Elizabeth a keen interest in the benefits of partnership work between the public, private and academic sectors.
