As Director and General Manager Far Composites, Lyndon sees his primary responsibility as overseeing the development of the team and relationships with actual and prospective customers. He draws on his own experience of improving operational processes to teach others innovative methods of problem solving. He has overcome manufacturing challenges throughout his career by researching, pitching and delivering improvement projects to a variety of service and manufacturing organisations.
Lyndon has a comprehensive understanding of automotive practices and lean principles, having started implementing lean thinking with his first Kan Ban in 1986 since when he has been driving operational improvements, mostly in the automotive industry in a number of multinational companies.
Lyndon has worked for two OEMs and as a 1st tier manufacturer he has supplied Ford, Jaguar, Land Rover, Toyota, Honda GM, BMW, as well as a vast array of other 1st tier suppliers. As a 1st tier supplier he has been trained by Honda and Toyota master engineers. He holds an MBA from Aston University and has studied international leadership at INSEAD University. With the skills he has acquired on these courses and his substantial experience leading organisations undergoing transformational change, Lyndon aspires to deliver value for our customers through his proven knowledge of lean methodology.
As a member of the leadership team at Far Composites, Lyndon has helped build a team with a wide range of skills to help tackle the challenge of bringing carbon fibre technology to high volume car assembly by meeting the industry’s demanding challenges of Quality, Cost and Delivery.
