Ralph has over 20 years’ experience in research, development and application of fuel cell, batteries, and internal combustion engines gained in premier engineering consultancies and technology startups, including Gordon Murray Design and Intelligent Energy. He holds a BSc in Physics, MSc in Mechanical Engineering and PhD in fuel cell failure modelling from Imperial College. He is passionate about educating young engineers and entrepreneurs, and founded the Racing Green undergraduate programme at Imperial and the UCell programme at UCL. He is a chartered engineer and Fellow of the IMechE, and holds an Honorary Research Fellowship at Imperial College London. Ralph recently started a new engineering consultancy, Engineering Technology Innovation Group, specialising in fuel cell engineering and innovation commercialisation.
